Who has the highest points (besides the webmaster!)?

- Now that you are logged in you can see more things on the page. On the top menu, find the menu that says IndyKids Community.
- Hover your mouse above it to get the drop down to appear, then click on Points. This will show you the highest points and where you fit in on the point scale.

Giving Points
Giving points is a great way to reward involvement and increases to recipient's chances for special prizes at the end of the year.
You can give points for all sorts of things, from helping with a class party to chaperoning a field trip. Thank a PTA member, board member, a teacher. Get creative. What do you want to say thank you for? What do you want to encourage? You can give points to any registered user or contact Carina Silfverduk (webmaster@indianolakids.com) to print out points certificates for those people in the community without internet access.
- Log in to IndianolaKids. If you don’t have a user account yet, you can create one by clicking the Create new account link. I will approve your account once I have verified your identity.
- Now that you are logged in you can see more things on the page. On the left hand menu, under your username, click Give Points.
- Choose the person you wish to give points to. You need to know the person’s online username, which can be found if you search users once you are logged in.
- Enter a Description for the points. A good example would be the reason you are giving points.
- Enter the Reference Code if you have received a points certificate from someone otherwise, leave the Reference Code marked None.
Assign a number of points to give. There is no maximum allowed points to give to a user, but all points are moderated by the webmaster. The recommendation is to give anywhere from 5 to 20 points per gift.
